Courtibeaux wind farm

PNE France realises wind farm ahead of schedule
Early completion powers local communities
The Courtibeaux wind farm was built in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region in the west of France and was developed by the French subsidiary PNE France. With a total capacity of 10.25 MW, the expected annual electricity production amounts to approx. 24 gigawatt hours. The wind farm now supplies clean electricity to around 9,000 French inhabitants.
The project was the second project which was realised under the framework agreement concluded with the investor John Laing. PNE Erneuerbare Energien GmbH (former WKN) was also commissioned by the new owner with the construction work and started with the construction of the routes and the platform at the end of 2016. The construction work was completed in the first half of 2018 with the delivery and erection of the turbines so that the project was commissioned in the middle of 2018.
Thanks to the good negotiating skills of the project team, the connection to the grid was accelerated and the wind farm was completed six months ahead of schedule.
